A renowned rubber planter in Pitigala, southern part of Sri Lanka, made a crucial decision to step into the Tea industry in early 1992 with a brand-new factory and machinery.
Producing some of the finest and fresh Ceylon Tea, Athukorala Tea has been an icon in the industry since the beginning of their journey.
Being awarded The Best Tea Estate First Place 2016 for Katapolawatta and The Best Tea Factory Third Place 2016 witnessed the quality and the standards maintained by Athukorala Tea.
